Almost 30 years in other people's homes — and treating each one like his own

Powermax Energy Solutions started with a simple idea: homeowners deserve an electrician who explains things. The owner has been working as an electrician since 1998, which adds up to almost 30 years of hands-on experience across just about every kind of residential job there is.

He holds a Master Electrician license in Anne Arundel County and spent more than a decade as a residential electrical service manager, leading service teams and handling the calls nobody else could figure out. He has owned Powermax Energy Solutions since the early 2000s.

That background covers both ends of the spectrum: older homes built in the 1950s and onward, with their cloth wiring, retrofitted panels and decades of previous "improvements" — and modern construction full of smart devices, network cabling and EV chargers.

Most calls start with someone who feels a little uneasy about their electrical system. The best part of the job is the moment that changes: when a homeowner can see what was wrong, understands the fix, and feels confident in their home again.
